A Brief One!

G'day,
Head still a tad groggy and the mouth tasting more like the bottom of a bird cage, after last nights night out with the gang to see the 'Kami' band at Canterbury Leagues Club.
A great band actually, we have followed them around many a club.
But more on that later as we now have another party and a disco to go to. Ohhhh the burdens of our busy existence.

Have just started a new idea for those people who have not been able to work out how to get on here.
Many of you reading this for the first time will have used a community username and password sent out to you. WELCOME ABOARD!
As you will all show up as the same person, please leave your names after anything posted in the comments section below each post.
On the subject of comments, please take the time to make them. We look forward to hearing from you.
More postings shortly.

Boredom, oooooooh The Boredom!

Today I am doing standby work thus allowing me time to cruise the internet and actually be paid for it.
HECK, for 9 years I have tried to find a way to be paid for answering my emails and working on web and blog sites. Finally I am successful, although sadly only for one day :-(

So what to do? Have spent the whole morning updating most of my blogsites and catching up on the latest mail. While trawling through the various files in the computer I have found quite a few shots of very little use other than here. So in an effort to waste another few minutes of the work day I shall put some here for you to be bored over.

Hmmmmm a rather delicious Pinay at last years Philippine Fiesta at Rosehill. Wish they all dressed like this.

A Phil/Aus singer entertaining the crowd. While not has beautiful as the genuine Philippine product, you make what you can of all situations when it comes to photography.

As many of you know, one of my many hobbies is bringing back souveniers from my beloved Philippines.

Over the years I have collected many things, bus number plates, car number plates, train items, photos, Jeepney destination signs, flag, posters, coins, adult videos/magazines, Tanduay posters, Tanduay bottles and my WIFE! I am always on the lookout for new items of interest.
Recently my good mate Bill purchased the pride of y Tanduay collection, while his mate Cisa brought it over to Australia with him.
A small cask model on a Tanduay barrell, which, thankfully, is also chock full of quality Tanduay product, 18 years old at that.
Drooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

SPECIAL AWARD!

A special award was given to Annabelle for her luscious appearance at last nights fund raising event.

Couldn't resist adding a extra shot of her here. :-)

A Night With Ivy Violan

Ana and Brad with Ivy Violan!

G'day,
Bet you thought I had forgotten this blog already. Truth is I have been suffering from a flu for the past week and haven't been bollocked to do very much other than lay around watching videos.
Bing Ana Leny Ivy Maria Annabelle

Last night however I had the pleasure of going to the 'Corregidor Entertainment Centre' in Rooty Hill (yes we seriously have a place called 'Rooty Hill' here in Sydney) for an evening of Philippine food, along with entertainment by the famous (apparently) Pinay singer 'Ivy V Violan'.
We were joined by our good mates Annabelle, Maria and Bing, while Ana's sister and a few of her friends were in attendance.
Our darling Annabelle seems to be getting frisky!

While a good singer, and displaying one of those world famous Pinay tempers, she stuck to the usual mundane type of music one would expect from RSL clubs and the like. The more interesting stuff actually coming from a new Philo/Aus singer called Monique, who, quite frankly, was quite the hornbag.
Ivy Violan in the SEXY purple outfit.

Perhaps she could have peddled the religion barrow a little less, while the endless rantings about how important we are to her had many reaching for a vomit bag.

Still one never misses the opportunity to grope a Pinay and, as such, one headed in for the after concert meet and greet session. Thankfully the early temper display seemed to now be gone.

As for the Corregidor place itself. The food, contrary to earlier recieved reports was quite good. However its promoting itself as a 'Philippine Experience' was ruined by the lack of Tanduay, balut and scantily clad honey girls.

It is otherwise recommended and I think we will all be headed there again in the near future.

Cheers
Brad

Hardware Shop Warning!

I'm not usually one for posting warnings about potential scams but I had a close call yesterday.

I walked into Bunning's hardware at lunchtime, wandered down the timber aisle and some old fart dressed in a red shirt with a green apron on asked me if I wanted 'decking'.
Fortunately, I got the first half dozen punches in and sorted the bastard out.
Those less suspecting might not be so lucky. Spread this warning on to all your friends.

Yes - G'day To All!

Welcome to the new family blog, a place of excitement, a place of intrigue, a place of extreme mystery.
Hmmmmmmm
Ain't I full of it today?
You will actually likely get none of the above at all, thought saucy karaoke night photos are a very distinct possibility, perhaps as soon as the blog entry to follow this one.
So why the need for a blog site covering the escapades of just one boring Aussie family?
I suppose it is mostly to help with all those 'So what you been up to' enquiries by family and friends. It also makes it easier to share photos of what we have been doing without distributing to a wide variety of different email addresses.
The reason for keeping it private is so the whole world does not have to suffer the boredom of our, less than riveting, existence. It is also so they do not have to run the risk of heart attack from experiencing photos taken at the previously mentioned karaoke nights.

The last two years have been one of change, especially for me.
Where once our free time was spent sitting around the house, looking at walls, relying on a trip to the toilet as being my only exciting outing for the weekend. Today, following a birthday for our close friend Maria, I have become more a part of the Filipino scene out here.
The Filipinos know how to live life and have fun. Weekly parties, hanging out together, sloshing down the Tanduay Rum, mahjong, smutty karaoke parties. Its a life us Aussies don't know how to live and one that I have become quite accustomed to.

PHOTO: Australia Day this year saw us go into the city with Jason to check out the annual Motorfest, although by the time he rocked up we were already overdue to be down Chinatown to see the lovely Annabelle and her mum.
Motorfest is really only for those who appreciate old cars. For me its the Holdens, the other makes, especially FORD, really seeming to be a terrible waste of metal that could be otherwise used elsewhere, like in Holdens.
Ana is trying her luck on one of those games where you have to wind a ring around a length of wire without touching them together. I am sure there is an official name for it, however she only got half way and won only a bag full of commercial bollocks.

Brock's First Message To The World!

Hello everyone! How are you today? I'm having a great time at school.
Year 5 work is pretty hard but I'll get used to it. I just can't wait till I'm in year 12 so I can finish school the next year. School just gets harder and harder by the year.
My brother Scott is alright but sometimes he can get really annoying. But the one thing I like about Scott is that he's funny most of the time.
Mum likes watching her TFC all the time. When we go some where mum all ways has some tapes to record them. I like some of them but I wish they were said in English too.
I don't have any homework at school yet because our old teacher is in the hospital because her mother is about to past away. All the kids in my class hate our old teacher(Ms Cain). People say when she screams at you it feels like she is giving you the cane.
Well thats all I'll be hoping you reply soon. Bye

Test Post!

G'day,
A test post from last weekends karaoki party here in Sydney.

The maganda Gina with our friend Cisa visiting from Denmark.
