Howdee, Last Friday saw us out of the usual club type atmosphere and on a couple of boats sailing around Sydney Harbour with some good food and the awesome Kami band. Starting from the Star City wharf just after 6pm, the cruise went on until just after midnight, travelling up both ends of the harbour, under the Anzac Bridge (Blackwattle Bay??) and into Mosman Bay. All are hopeful of a repeat adventure in the near future. Below be a selection from the 300+ photos taken on the night.
If you want a night out with a great band - check this website regularly for all their upcoming performance dates. Check out 'KAMI BAND' in the 'Blog Sections' area, below left.
The first boat of the evening docks at Star City. This is FUNBOAT's newest ferry, coming second hand from Port Macquarie.
Ron, Gina, Ning, Annie, Maria, Brad prior to departure.
My little sister looks pretty spectacular normally, however, for the cruise she truly excelled herself.
Star City Casino!
My cute little sister Maria as we depart Star City.
Probably Australias most photographed bridge.
If you are a bit of a funzel like myself, you are probably slightly aroused by the above shot of the former Manly ferry Baragoola. This historic ferry is facing a rather uncertain future with little chance of someone with money taking an interest. Recent reports have said it may now be sold to a scrap merchant as the cost of retaining it is to high. The boat being restored behind is believed to be the one that prize tool Tim Elderton is involved in.
Kami sister Amelia and myself talking up the front (I think those sea types call in the bow) of the boat.
Maria, Romel (young one-not Officer Ego from Eastlakes), Annie (mum of Rabbitohs football player Craig Wing), Ning, Ron, Gina and Kami sisters Amelia and Kethey.
Gina and Ronnie!
Kethey prior to the band getting started.
Gina looking as spectacular as ever.
Maria, Annie, Ning and Gina look out over Cremorne.
The city of Sydney after dark. Not the sharpest shot given boat movement.
Amelia, Simana Jnr and Oscar.
Joshua.
Oscar and Kethey.
Gina finds a bit of calamari behind Maria's ear that was left over from dinner.
Brad and Ning with Luna Park behind!
Ronnie and Gina with the lights behind actually being a near invisible harbour bridge.

Welcome friends, followers and any random perverts who have come across the site.
The last decade of involvement in the local Filipino community has been a long road and nobody could ever say it has been dull.
No matter how much you study the community, the one thing you will learn is that you will never truly understand them. You must just enjoy the good ones who truly care.
Approaching 2013 is where I now find myself. Still serving the wonderful Filipino community through our shop, thankful that those who sort to bring it dopwn have now gone off to their own endeavours - as far removed from their supposed truth as could be possible.
The end of 2012 saw the Aussie Aswang finally venture down the road of raising money for the poorer people back in the Philippines.
Yes, it is a noble cause, helping thos in desperate need - yet alas I have already encountered vermin in the community to seek nothing more than to benefit themselves.
Yes, there is a surprise around every corner.

A group of friends sometime seen around the Filipino community, but more likely to be found around the Neath Hotel enjoying some chat, drinkies, mixed grill, passing coal trains, or just the odd bit of smutty chat. Join us for our look at life in the Filipino community here in Australia and an occasional look at happenings in the Philippines, from a purely local foreigners point of view.
Brad - Worshipper of Neath and the Philippines. Never has one man been so lied about in the Australian Filipino community - but then again, never has one man ever GIVEN SO LITTLE A TOSS. I continue to help where I can, GIVES YOU THE SHITS HEY :-)
Ning (left) keeper of the rules seen with her abandoned mate Gina.
Colonel- Ahhhh our beloved Colonel, never has one man been so worshipped, so idolized, so pissed he has been unable to even vomit. We can only but dream of reaching his level of godlikeness. This website comes with the Colonel's official stamp of approval! Colonel is currently travelling Indonesia, Thailand and the home of gossiping, the Philippines. Yes - he soon sets foot in my former second country for the first time ever.
Paul (fellow board member of our Philippine charity) is seen here with his beautiful fiancee, soon to be asawa, Mitzy. Mitzy hails from Naga and still spends the vast majority of her time there.
Bill, semi-Philippine resident and my Vice-President in the Philippine charity. Bill is an awesome bloke, full of Philippine (and computer) knowledge and a great mate. He is also a fellow appreciator of quality Filipino beverages, one of which is probably in his hand in this photo.
Nathan: Never do mates come more fantastic. MrNathan is lucky enough to live within bowel motion throwing distance of the Neath Hotel and is seen here with his beautiful other half MrsLoco (aka Hayley).Love ya mate - will show you how much the next Neath night :-)
Terry- (aka Tezza, Forrest Gump) A mate suffering similar employment to me, who appreciated Tanduay but, GASP, seems to have a peverted preference for Bundy products. We do, sort of, forgive him due to his beautiful Cebuana wife, his interest in Filipino trains and the fact he is a fellow modeller (of trains-not womans underwear). Seen here with the retarded Honey who felt it right to use us for everything and then run without even a thank you. I think the saying of her mum was "Even if she came back crying blood I would not accept her". Hmmm at least we can see where her hypocrisy comes from.
RJ (Richard)- Egad a Filo who also prefers Bundaberg over Tanduay. What is the world coming to?
This website is also a location for family and real friends to contribute jokes, photos, news, stories or anything else they may wish to say. Feel free to email us at the old GSPOT_BARKADA email address with whatever you would like to see included. Regular contributers are:
Christine- My lovely little niece in Roxas City (Panay-Philippines) occasionally emails me with news from one of my favourite Philippine cities and photos she has taken. Christine recently graduated her nursing course- so I am very proud of her.

STUFF IT - WHO REALLY CARES. Except for those who care about the truth, but then again, when did the truth have any relevance to the local Filipino community here.
