The Monthly Cuddly Competition!
It has become quite the tradition that every month we have a 'Cuddly Pinay' competition to see who is Australia's cuddliest Pinay.
As the self appointed judge, it is my duty to test out all the applicants and place them on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being the lowest in cuddle rating (Elizabeth and luggage shop people standard) and 10 being the highest (Annabelle and Nesa standard).
It should be noted that those who don't win one month, may well win the next. It just means putting in a lot of effort. I mean a cuddle is not something to be taken likely and the judges (well me) test for grip, softness and sincerity. You can't fake a good hug and the judges (again me) know when this is happening.
The competition at John's was fierce and many cuddles had to be retried just to ensure I got an accurate reading.

TO THOSE WHO MISSED OUT!
Don't panic - there is always next month. I don't discriminate when it comes to judging cuddle competitions, WELL, unless of course your a bloke. Sorry blokes are out until my mate Jason decides to set up a separate competition for them. :-)
BEWARE OF IMITATION COMPETITIONS!
I have been made painfully aware that people are going around imitating the 'now famous' cuddle competition.
One of these people, often using the code name 'Maria' has been impersonating me and pretending to have a degree in cuddle management. I assure you that she is not an official cuddle judge and that only I run the 'World Famous' Sydney Filipino Cuddle Competition. :-)
We are lucky enough to have some CCTV footage of the cuddle impostor - who I may add has won the 'Miss Cuddly Filipina' award many times in the past.
