MOVING ON!

** COMING NEXT **

No sooner was the 40th party over than little Latrell was having his christening. Stay tuned to this website for photographic coverage coming shortly and, likely, in another four parts.

I should point out, for those who lack much of a sense of humour,
this is indeed a joke.

BRAD'S 'BECOMING AN OLD BUGGAR' 40TH BIRTHDAY PT4

** THE SPECIAL TONGUE EDITION **

I am not really sure why tongues feature so often at 'G-Spot Karaoke Barkada' gatherings, but lets just thank the lord they do.
Come on guys, admit it, you would have to be somewhat, ahmmm different, not to be taken by the sight of a tongue trying to lurch itself free of a Pinay speech box. Its a sight that would melt even the hardest of men (and by hard I mean tough - as opposed to, well, you know). :-)
Anyway please join me in celebrating the TONGUE in this final instalment of my 40th Birthday!

Gina shows us her prized cardboard cut out of a, ahhhmmmm, couple of marshmallows.

Hayley becomes the meat in the dribbly foamer sandwich!

Nothing like a dual tongue session.
My best mate Gina (right) gives a parallel tongue display for the camera
with the newest hornbag on the block, Analiza.

My wifes Ana and Gina are overcome with excitment during
the occasion and tongues go wild.

My wife, Gina's, husband Ron looks on.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh yeah!!!!!

Even the parents become overwhelmed with the arousing displays going on!

New KAMI Album

NOTE: Just in case you were wondering.
Nope we have no financial interest in the group :-)
Our barkada are just huge fans of the Kamis, a group that is quite simply an awesome piece of entertainment and the nicest people you could hope to meet.

And Now For Something Completely Different!

With apologies to Monty Python.

Yes I realise I promised part 4 of my 40th and the special tongue edition. I haven't forgotten and expect to do this on Wednesday.

This posting relates to a couple of friends I have never met and who live overseas.

Ever since I can remember I have had pen pals, some like my good friends Anthony Buckley (Leeds UK) and Diane Klepper (USA) have been with me for over 15 years now. Its amazing to look back over what we have all gone through during this time.

A couple of years ago I was on the prowl for a penpal who, like me, was into photography. The idea was that we could write to each other and swap photos.
If memory serves correct, and it often doesn't in this advanced age of 40, Ria was introduced to me through a friend of hers who saw I was looking for someone with a photography interest.
The rest is history, we have corresponded while she went through many moves of house and during this time we have swapped many letters, photos and even gifts.

Last week I received a letter off her with a selection of photos within. All were taken in New Mexico and Organ Mountains and Dripping Sands. I was so taken with the photography that I thought I would share them here.
Ria has taken some stunning and interesting images.

Beautiful work my friend.

I first met Jeffrey on the internet when he joined my 'Philippine Railways SIG'
While we have not been penfriends as such, we have kept regular contact on the internet and I hope to eventually meet up with him.
Last week, following my report on my 40th birthday, Jeffrey alerted my to some interesting fact.
Both love railways.
Both love the Philippines.
Both went on to marry Filipinas.
Both born in September 1968, indeed his 40th was but 6 days before mine.

Below is a photo of Jeffrey and his maganda asawa Dahlin who we hope to meet up with one day soon.

Happy 40th Birthday Jeffrey!!!

HISTORY IN THE MAKING - LATRELL

Well last night, while in the process of consuming some of the endless party leftovers, we were treated to a very historic moment in time.
After I made a few comments about how soon it will be before my godson Latrell finally starts to walk, he actually went it alone for himself.
First he stood up for a short while with no help, then another attempt to get him to stand was met with a good metre and a half walk over to his mummy Gina.

What an awesome moment to see and capture on photo.

Of course a major event like this needs to be celebrated and what better way to do it than with a bucket load of chocolate :-)

BRAD'S 'BECOMING AN OLD BUGGAR' 40TH BIRTHDAY PT3

PART 3

More filth and depravity from Brad's big 40th event!

What a cute couple!
Despite her stealing Nathan's affections away from me, I am very happy for them.
Yes I hope she makes you as happy as I did Nathan!!!!!!!! Thats right!!!!!!
Seriously though - Hayley makes a great addition to our sordid little group of friends, it was great to finally meet her.

Ahhhhhh yes, the mystical Tanduay Gold.
My mate Bill Sullivan gave me this rare delight for my present and here we see James Chuang modelling it in front of my sugarcane garden.

Was getting a tad concerned as to Steve's intentions for my microphone and whether or not he would respect it in the morning :-)

The Colonel family as in attendence. His beautiful wife and their lovely daughter, who, obviously got her daddys big smile.

A bit of bad timing here.
We were waiting to have our picture taken when I locate a stray bit of chocolate behind my beautiful sister Maria's ear. Not wanting a good morsal to go to waste, I quickly tried to rectify the situation, but then BANG, the photo was taken.
In the pink is one of the millions of Anna's that seem to accumulate at these gatherings. Must have been a special on that name,
or variations of it, in the Philippines.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
My mate Gina is seen here with Annie Wing.
Those of you that have a football interest and live in Sydney would no
doubt know of her son Craig.

Me - Give me my V8s anyday. :-)

Heres our Honey again.
Its rare that someone so genuinely nice and kind joins in with
our barkada, however Honey is certainly both.

Ahhhhhhh my very cuddly fourth wife Bing.
Seen here during an intimate moment while EVERYONE was watching :-)

Yum - My second wife Anabelle savours the delights from the chocolate fountain.
Strawberries - Marshmallows and other goodies were eagerly devoured by all.

Now while looking at that last photo you may well have noticed the tongue probing its way forth towards the soon to be devoured helpless strawberry.
PART 4 of this series on my 40th will cover tongues, tongues of all shapes and varieties.
Join us on Tuesday (next week) when we do our 40th birthday special edition devoted to that most wonderful of devices
THE TONGUE!

BRAD'S 'BECOMING AN OLD BUGGAR' 40TH BIRTHDAY (More Soon)

PART 3 ~ COMING SOON ~

Sorry guys, work, party cleanup, husband duties and, believe it or not, another gathering tonight and tomorrow night, prevent me from finishing off the last two parts of this report today.

Plan is to complete this on Thursday and Friday.

So come back in a few days for a further perverted look into my 40th birthday and meet even more new people, just like my new mate

HONEY.

Have known Honey off and on for the last year or so, but it is just now that she is becoming more of a regular feature at our gatherings. Gradually as the initial shyness we all go through begins to wear off, we are also becoming good friends.

Oh yeah, just in case your wondering, she really is as lovely as she looks.
Though now she will also probably hit for saying that :-)

BRAD'S 'BECOMING AN OLD BUGGAR' 40TH BIRTHDAY PT2

PART 2

Welcome to part 2 of my 40th birthday bash. ENJOY!

Yeah I know that having best mates who are all woman is often an indication of being a , well, shall we say, ahem, well its not considered
the thing to do for blokes.
But alas I don't really give a right royal toss.
I am as straight as the Colonel, and lets face it, no greater straightness can be achieved than Colonel. A blokes bloke, a mans man, a
liquor shop owners wet dream. :D

Alas I am not ashamed to say that these three people, the three that
aren't me, WERE the closest mates I have ever had. I am lucky
enough to have met every one of them.

From left to right is my sister Maria, Me, my second wife
Anabelle and my third wife Gina.
Alas the Anabelle part has since gone thanks to the less than honourable actions of a, shall we say, boyfriend (a term I choose to use very lightly).

Kitchen Hornbags - My first wife Ana, my little sister Maria and the cute Siti.
The steamy windows behind is a result of all the cuddling action!

I think this is the first time she has appeared on the site.
This is my beautiful cousin Riza who moved out here not so long ago, perhaps a couple of years, perhaps more. Who knows, I can't really remember what happened yesterday :-)
I got on well with Riza since the first time I met her in Cavite back in 1999. Sadly despite being here I really don't get as much time to talk to her as I would like to.
Hopefully we can rectify this some day Riza.
When you moving down to Sydney???? :-)

XXXOOO

My only former school mate that was at the party.
Mr James Pappas, despite looking somewhat pissed here, stayed well away from any alcoholic beverages in order to keep up a good appearance for his fiancee.
Hope we all behaved well James and didn't accidently
reveal the truth about us all.

MMWMWHWHWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Steve Miller observes 'BEST PRACTISE OH&S' practice and is seen here wearing a hi-vis safety vest in order to avoid any unexpected crashes into
out of control hornbags!

WOW
No bleeding idea who she is but
DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLL
Enough reason for more than one male party attendee to go running
for the tissue box.

My mate James Chuang, another person I don't get to catch
up with nearly enough.

So glad he was able to make my 40th.
Thanks mate.

Didn't take him long to meet some of the beauty that frequents the G-SPOT karaoke bar.

:-)

I will probably get a good slap for adding this one!
Gina proudly shows off her recent award, as voted by me, which was given to her during the party.
No doubt I shall be expecting a good shit-stirring in retaliation shortly! :-)

BRAD'S 'BECOMING AN OLD BUGGAR' 40TH BIRTHDAY PT1

PART 1

Howdee,
Well it has been a BIG weekend, hmmm actually, no, it has been a BIG weekend here at the base of the 'G-SPOT Karaoke Barkada'.
Friday night, planned as a preparation night, turned into a practice run for the days ahead.
What followed was two days with about 9 hours sleep, plenty of food, many laughs, smutty photos galore and of course the interesting scandals that always follow parties I have.
Just a typical weekend for us Filos, even us honorary ones :-)
Once upon a time (in a life far far away) parties were all about the presents. Now days the company of some of my closest friends, all at once, is the most awesome part of all. The presents were just the sweetener, although admittedly, they were a BLOODY good sweetener :-)
Amongst these sweeteners were One very rare bottle of Tanduay GOLD, two bottles of Bundy rum, one large bottle of Bundy Rum, Jamaican Rum, a 4.5L monolith Philippine rum and a bottle of Black Douglas. Anyone beginning to see a pattern here :-)
These will last me an absolute lifetime I should imagine.
I won't go on to list all the non-alcoholic presents as I shall no doubt miss somebody and cause great offense in the process.
Suffice to say, I am grateful to all. There are some awesome gifts there, while the pera donations are going to great use in building the DVD collection and towards my next Philippine trip.

Anyway enough of the bollocks - you wanna see photos don't you?

The night before the big party and Grandma gives us some impromptu poles dancing displays. Many saw this as setting the tone for the rest of the weekend, most were indeed not disappointed.

These two people, Arthur and Vicky were one of the few people (the other being my mother) who were at my 1st birthday party 39 years ago.
Incidentally that party, like my 21st, was held in the same place, indeed the exact same garage that is now the G-Spot.

Steve Miller models the latest in railfan party fashion early on in the party.
My beloved little sister Maria looks on from behind.

Kami Band - Souths Juniors

KAMI BAND

Never heard of them: CLICK HERE!

Contrary to popular belief, our bakarda (Tagalog for group of friends or similar) do not have shares in this band. Wish we did - but sadly we don't. :-) Just enjoy the band and appreciate what they all do for us.

I first come across them at East Leagues while on a night out with a group of friends. Some of these friends mentioned they usually watch them at South as well. We, of course, followed the crowd to Souths a week later to listen to them again.
This has subsequently lead to over a year of following them around these two clubs, along with many others around the Sydney area.

If you love good, loud, live music (decent music - not that noise that often passes for it nowdays) then I suggest you check them out some time.

To Oscar and the rest of the family - Thanks!

MATES - A SERIOUS POST

" AY NAKU "

Yeah thats probably what your saying, afterall since when has a serious post been allowed to interfere with the 'G-Spot Karaoke Gang' blogsite?
For our engish speaking readers it means "Oh my god". Jut one of many words learn't in the slow process of trying to understand Tagalog.
Well having just had my two daily Tanduay doses (keeps the flu away and is agreed too by ones doctor) in quick succession, I find myself in the mood to babble on. Perhaps, as my mate Keith says, start yet another NOVEL length posting.
Yeah I like to type, once I start I tend not to stop to easy, especially after the earlier mentioned double Tanduay shot :-)

Over the last week I have had much cause to think about mates. Not just the ones you occasionally see down the pub, in the local supermarket, or cruising brothels around Darling Harbour.
I mean the real mates, those selected few out of hundreds that reach the highest allocated level of mateship, those afforded the title of 'Best Friends'.
In reality, even a half drunk and sodomised beaver can tell I love the Filipino community out here in Australia. No more fun can be had than when eating, drinking and singing with these guys.
Many are the number of Filipino who I have met, some what less the number I occasionally hang out with, significantly less the number I can really call best friends. Actually this later number is in single digits and probably countable on one hand.

Most of us never give a second thought to it all, at least until one feels said friendship may be over. It is then you really feel how important that friendship is. Perhaps you are the aort of person who dosen't give it much of a thought - perhaps though, if you really do care, you worry about it endlessly.

Any friends are hard to find in this hollow excuse of a country, so best friends, if you are lucky enough to find any, ARE WORTH THEIR WEIGHT IN GOLD.
I, for one, will never EVER forget this again.

Salamat to all of you - You all know who you are..

Brad
** Who better have some water as he is off to pick up the asawa soon.

HAPPY CHRISTENING - KIANU

G'day to all who have happened along for a look at the site.
Yeah I have been somewhat slack in my updates, much has been happening in life, while my search for someone gulible enough to pay me for doing blogs has, still, been less than fruitful.
So here I find myself with a bit of spare time and sharing with all a little of the bollocks I have been getting up to of late.

Last week, hmmmm, actually it was the week before now, I was lucky enough to be invited to the christening on Kianu, the son of our friends Jessie and Rowena.
Not being a particularly religious person myself, I really can't describe all that was going on in the church. I merely photographed while things were done with holy water, candles were lit and people scrambled for photos.
When I got married, I really thought that would be the last time I entred a church. Alas this has proved not to be the case, with so many Filo friends making it quite a regular occurance.

The following selection of photos show a few of the things that happened during the big event.
Many thanks to Jessie and Rowena for allowing us to share in the event.

One of the many post christening photo opportunities. The beautiful Rowena, her hubby Jessie and Kianu are to the left of the priest , those to the right I don't know.
Jessie, Rowena and Kianu during the actual ceremony!

Jessie lights a candle, then goes on to light everyone elses.

Just a small selection of the many lovely Pinay woman attending
the christening after-party.

The usual food, drinks and karaoke was enjoyed and the opportunity taken to get photographs of beautiful woman that, at other times, would
likely get you arrested.
