~~ CHINATOWNS BIG FILIPINO ~~
INVASION

Howdee all and sundry and welcome to our look at Chinatown during a recent adventure. Chinatown, at the south end of Sydney City is known for its food, supposed bargains, endless hornbags and good ol Paddy Markets.

After our visit to the Star Wars exhibition we decided to meet up with my hornbag cousins Riza and Reizel for a look through the famous Paddys, as well as a look at the local hornbag wildlife, of which there is much.

Please enjoy our following selection of piccies of this day.
Have the Tena pads at the ready - the excitment may be a tad to much to bare.

Nice of her to put on a display for us.

Well it would be preferable to fries!

A monorail at Chinatown!

There is always something tasty at Chinatown.

Reizel has an Aussie icon!

The gang at Market City.

A sleepy hornbag!

A T-Shirt on sale!

Saucy!!!

Paddys icecream van!

Pardon me?

Chinatown locals!

The now famous Paddys building!

The significantly less famous Peak apartments next door.

UTS in the late afternoon.

AFTER SUCH A GREAT DAY OUT
IT WAS AGAIN TIME FOR SOME MORE THEROPY!

And what better a way than a good ol fashioned folder full burning!

What an awesome feeling!
Goodbye to my old miserable and empty life!

"A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------~~ COMING SOON ~~
**
Despite some of the barkada recieving injuries through a rather violent attack the night before, all were determined not to be held back and headed on our to Maroubra Beach to celebrate Brock's big birthday party.

The weather was great, the company fantastic, the food awesome and the seagulls very photogenic.
Join us in coming days for a photographic look at the days activities.

**
Recently found is all the photos from our island hopping journey from Panay to Luzon via Jintatolo and Masbate back in 2007.
We will have a looksie through a number of shots from this very beautiful part of the world.

**
One of my many interests is in planes, mostly of the large commercial aviation type. The recent departure from Australia of Qantas's last 'Classic 747' had me interested to look back at what has become of the the first two Qantas jets I rode to the Philippines on.
For a change of pace, I shall share my findings with readers.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally, if like us you are looking for ways to help out the poor people in Victoria who have suffered so badly with the fires, and those who may still do so, this new album may be of great interest to all.

A selection of local and overseas artists have come together to allow this album to be produced, the proceeds of which will help our fellow Aussies suffering down south.
Despite recent accusations (lies yet again) that I don't have and would never donate money to a charity, I have given to this numerous times, as have a number of our barkada. Never believe any story without getting both sides.

Cheers

~~ BROCK AND SCOTT'S BIG BIRTHDAY ~~
BASH!!

PART 1 OF 3 PARTS (Yep it was that big)

Oooooooohhhhh Ali has an aching head!

What a silly aswang I was, two bottles of scotch, 12 stubbies of beer and what looked to be half a glass of port.

I mean, I can't even explain why I woke up at Mascot shops with no pants on, while this sore bottom has also got me significantly stumped. Thankfully at least I am still alive, it could have been much worse, could have passed out around Eastlakes.

Due to severe intoxication old Ali can't remember much of the nights activities, including why his bottom got so sore, however I shall try to explain the photos I took here with my good friend Mr Credi Bility.

Thank you to the wonderful G-Spot Barkada for allowing Ali to attend this wonderful event and thank you for the food. It be much enjoyed by this lonely aswang.

Thanks to the generosity of the G-Spot Barkada and others attending the party we were able to raise an awesome amount for our Philippine museum charity.

More on this will appear in part 3.

Lattrell preparing for some heavy partying!
Brad popped by very briefly to catch up with some old Filo mates before heading back into hiding under police protection.
Here he is seen with his ol mate Gina.
Wish you could have stayed longer - But we know the danger.

Ali is seen with his new friends Ana, Hiding Ferlie, Bernie and Gina. A little Lattrell can be just seen trying to inch a biscuit.
I tried to pinch a peanut in Pakistan once and had two fingers removed!

Ali need not say more about this one.

The maganda Riza with her cousin Ana.

Chris and Riza share a moment in front of Ali's camera.

The ever beautiful Gina getting plastered on heavy quantities of H2O.

Great to meet you to Cindy and also your cute friend.

"Piss off Ali - I'm trying to sleep"
Many apologies to you Ms Gina, please no lashings, not like the old days in Lebanon when I was caught trying to smuggle a packet of condoms across the border.

What a cutie. Baby is pretty cute to.

FERLIE PHOTO REMOVED

Ahhhh yes, I think I was getting a bit drunk here.
Not sure if Ali's offer was taken up - don't imagine so.

Thanks be to all the wonderful G-Spot Barkada for allowing Ali, a poor peasant Arabic aswang boy from Eastlakes, to attend your auspicious event. I be forever in your debt and carrying wood!
Please join us tomorrow for part two of the coverage.
Peace to mankind - Ali TAA

ALI THE ARABIC ASWANG
AND
THE G-SPOT BARKADA'S EASTLAKES RETURN.

As-salam alaykum. (Thats Arabic for hello)

Yo Stooges, thank
s for joining the all new website of the G-Spot Karaoke Barkada.

Some pissers have been threatening me main man Brad, who has asked me remove the digit from the caboose and run the website for him until he can again roam the streets without fear of death, excluding perhaps Redfern and back home in the Gaza Strip.

So who am I?

I am Ali obviously, a street urchin from Erskinville. Originally from the Middle East, I came to Australia to be a lawyer for 20 y
ears, before I got the calling.

Yes the calling!

That calling from the streets to live for free on cake crumbs and the last remaining dregs of ones last bottle of beer.

A chance bite while rooting through the garbages at BK
K Eastlakes for some edible treasure has rendered me with a problem, that of turning into a half man and half beast at night. Since joining the 'CARING' G-Spot Barkada I have learn't that the name for me is aswang.

I'm now paid a pie a week to run their website, rather generous, even for IR laws.

Yesterday I fulfilled a long time promise (about a week) to return the G-Spot Barkada to their former stomping ground of the Eastlakes Reserve for some seafood, wildlife spotting and fun.

Despite risking our lives and limbs, a great evening was had by all and a promise made to do it again soon.

All agreed it was a shame Brad could not go, but the threats has made sure that Eastlakes remains an exclusion zone for
his visits.
He has however promised to post something to this website when he arrives in Parkes on the weekend.

In the meantime - enjoy the photos of last nights

G-SPOT BARKADA'S BIG EASTLAKES RETURN.

Memories

Rajin and Scott showing support for their new friend Ali!

Ali fits right in with the gang ever since he purchased his first can of deodorant.
Here we chew on the remaining calamari and a bit of chicken pie
left on a park bench.

Ali's beautiful daughter!
Ahhhh she is the pride of Palestine!

Yes hi gang!
Ali's wonderful new friends, caring, sharing and without
the rubbish Ali receives when sleeping in a gutter.

All to soon it starts getting dark and the group become growingly concerned
about the weird creatures flying overhead.

They certainly weren't pigeons, they had all left. Even the seagulls had fled in fear long before these weird airborne things started circling above
Eastlakes Reserve and the nearby Mascot Drive.

Despite Ali's assurances of his years of tactical military training and extensive experience in hand to hand combat with mythical creatures, fear still was setting on on everyone present in the park and they all were soon
screaming and running for cover.

THANK YOU

For joining me in my first posting to the group.
Join us next week when we cover this weekends huge two day party
celebrating Ali's acceptence into the barkada.

Ali is excited.

Ali is thrilled.

Oops Ali has WOOD!

Ma'a salama OR Goodbye

Cynthia's Hawiian 13th Birthday

Last Saturday, the 22nd of November, the G-Spot Barkada were invited to attend the birthday party of Grandma's grand-daughter Cynthia over at Randwick. The theme, as is likely obvious from the photos, was Hawaiian and our group wasn't about to let them down :-) Thanks to everyone for a great day! Below are a selection of photographs taken on the big day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CYNTHIA!

A cake fight is almost a tradition at any party the G-Spotters go to, however we plead innocent to starting this little messy round.

Jasmin even cops her share of the cake!

A foursome in an exclusive hotel - sort of everyones fantasy really :-)

Honey is busy admiring, well Honey!

Opps - someone pulled out a photo of Racquel!
Put it away - PUT IT AWAY!!!!!

Back on the balcony, Gina and Ron enjoy the view of the passing smog producers.

The balcony was obviously popular, now Ferlie, Brad and Honey are out there.

And two of us again!

FRIENDSHIP
What is the true meaning of friendship?
Like death and taxes, one sure thing in life is that friends come by regularly and sometimes they even go (occasionally doing so in a huge tirade of
backstabbing and betrayal) away again.

While you don't wish to see them go, things march on and soon you move on to those other people who are far more important in your life and far more deserving of your friendship. Those other people soon become part of your past - their contribution adding to the person you are and leave you with lessons learn't.
However occasionally, VERY occasionally, a friend comes along who is different. Someone who you know genuinely cares and helps you look well past the bad in life and learn just to ignore it and have fun.
These friends, of which I luckily have a couple, are those you can't imagine life without, those who stick by you in good and bad (not just their bad) and those who endure my demented sense of humour. :-)
One of these rare people is seen here sipping on a wine and enjoying the late afternoon Sydney sun while overlooking Randwick Racecourse.
Maraming Salamat Po Gina

This is an interesting Philo tradition called the pinata, where something, like the doll below, is stuffed full of goodies and kids take turns to be blindfolded, given a stick of some sort and allowed to beat the absolute poop out of it.
The kids kept refering to the hung doll as Lisa, which for our barkada is strangely appropriate, although I suppose they were refering to a school friend rather
than any gossiping skanks.

Cake cutting time!

Cynthia at cake cutting time.
Some of the many attendees watch on from behind!

Enday and Gina enjoy the afternoon sun near the pool!

All that wine has done wonders for Gina's height, we are all surprised by how tall she has become in recent weeks.

Last but not least.
We find the photographer photographed!
My little sister Honey is become an avid photographer like myself.
